The grass is greening up, flowers are blooming and tree are leafing out!  Summer is fast approaching and that means things are really happening at the Fitchburg Library!

We have many opportunities for members of Friends of Fitchburg Library – and friends of Friends! – to volunteer a few hours of time to help ensure success for these upcoming events.  To get specific information as to dates, times and tasks for each event, please click the appropriate link below to get all the details.

Summer Reading Program – This year’s theme “Oceans of Possibilities” offers pre-readers, elementary school students and teens many opportunities to engage in reading, writing, listening, and talking experiences.   June 10, 14, 28, July 12 and 26. Register Here

Friends of Fitchburg Library Used Book Sale – June 16-17-18 (4 hour shifts, various times)

Pop-Up Library in the Park – Numerous dates throughout the summer at Swan Creek Park, Tower Hill Park, Leopold Park, Southdale Park, and Huegel Jamestown Park starting June 13th running through August 11th.  Shifts are approximately 2 hours.  Signup

Fitchburg Fun at the Park – Various dates from June 23 to September 22.   Register Here
